Actually, the correct pronunciation in English is /katyusha/. If the team name in Russian were “Катуша” then you would be correct in pronouncing it /katusha/ in English, however the letter ю in the Cyrillic alphabet is pronounced as /yu/, not just /u/.

I can understand your point by suspending Gert STeegmans, but a really consequent and correct attitude would be to fire him. In this situation be brave and take the final solution. It’s clear that both parties can’t agree anymore
